New York Hip Hop Talk Radio – Presented by Birthplace Magazine (www.BirthplaceMag.com)
Finally getting back to some semblance of normalcy after the craziness that Hurricane Sandy delivered to New York, The NY Hip Hop Report ushered in its 27th straight episode, and was back to discussing a variety of topics of interest to hip hop heads.
Hurricane Sandy wasn’t totally forgotten however, as for much of the show, hosts Manny Faces and Steven Ortiz of presenting sponsor Birthplace Magazine, discussed at length the items chosen for a BirthplaceMag.com post entitled, “10 New York Hip Hop Things You Might Have Missed Because of Hurricane Sandy.” Among the items discussed, videos by Action Bronson, Styles P, Saigon, Collette, Rebel Diaz, as well as a mixtape release by Iron Solomon and more were highlighted and interesting conversation ensued.
Realizing that many in our area still not back to full strength after the onslaught of Sandy, The NY Hip Hop Report pointed out some upcoming NY-area hip hop events of interest, for those needing a release, as well as spotlighting an upcoming benefit show, for those wishing to help the cause while enjoying some good hip hop at the same time.
The NY Hip Hop Report with Manny Faces airs Sunday nights from 10p-11p on the BlogTalkRadio network. Archives are available here, as well as through a free subscription on iTunes.
